Sunday, July 27 at 10:30pm

Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) The Shape of Things to Come: Looking Fifty Forward-Sustaining a Quality Region explores metro Atlanta’s long-term sustainability. “Everything else we explore—whether its transportation, new technology or our future workforce—all must be discussed within the confines of an environmentally-sustainable metro Atlanta,” says Sam Olens, ARC Chairman.

The half-hour show, hosted by Susan Hoffman, begins with interviewing a tree farmer, sustainability proponent and keyboardist for the Rolling Stones — Georgia resident, Chuck Leavell. Also hear interviews with Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels, Georgia Secretary of State, Karen Handel and United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta president, Milton Little. The show will include two sustainability success stories in the Atlanta region—Emory University and Interface Carpet.
