The candidates for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District will meet for a debate at 5 p.m. hosted by the Atlanta Press Club.  All 18 candidates for this special election to fill Tom Price’s former seat in Congress are expected to participate.  

The race is seen as the first big test of President Donald Trump’s popularity, with Democrats pushing hard to take the historically Republican district. Early voting will run through April 14, with Election Day on April 18. 

Price vacated the seat when he was picked as Health and Human Services secretary by Trump.
