In Its 9th Year, Atlanta Jewish Music Festival Connects Traditional With Modern

“Tsvey Brider” (which means “two brothers” in Yiddish) will open the ninth annual Atlanta Jewish Music Festival on Thursday night at City Winery with Beyond the Pale.

The Atlanta Jewish Music Festival is now in its ninth year, uniting international and local talent for more than two weeks of music programming at venues around Atlanta.

Lois Reitzes spoke with festival founder and director on “City Lights” about this year’s line-up, which includes Yiddish-language duo Tsvey Brider, Israeli indie pop darlings Lola Marsh and the experimental fusion of Yemen Blues.
