A Doctor On The Worldwide Recall Of Textured Breast Implant

The pharmaceutical company “Allergan” issued a worldwide recall of its textured breast implants after the US Food and Drug Administration reported a higher risk of developing cancer and called for a voluntary recall.

Over the past week, many women have called their doctors wondering if they should have the implants removed.

Dr. Lisa DiFrancesco is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Atlanta who works with Sisters by Choice Inc, a nonprofit that increases cancer awareness.
