Airbnb Expands Open Homes Program To Help People Affected By Florence

Airbnb has expanded its Open Homes program to those affected by Hurricane Florence.

The program now covers five states, including Georgia and the cities of Atlanta, Athens, Augusta and Macon.

On Thursday, “All Things Considered” host Jim Burress spoke with Kim Rubey, Airbnb’s global head of social impact and philanthropy, and East Atlanta resident Stephanie Ryan, who’d opened her home to people displaced by Hurricane Florence.
