Anxiety Grips Students, Travelers Trying To Get Back To Atlanta

During times of a pandemic, it’s good to allow weary people to talk. That’s according to Psychology Today, which also notes that listening can help.

At Miami International Airport this week, gate D-60 was full of Georgians trying to make it to Atlanta.

Many were traveling out of necessity and said they had some form of anxiety.

“Morning Edition” host Lisa Rayam talked with a spring breaker summoned home by mom and dad; a flight attendant taking every precaution; a teacher worried about her students; and a college student whose school just closed for the semester.
