This weekend the Atlanta Ballet continues a holiday tradition with the opening of “The Nutcracker” at the historic Fox Theatre.

“The Nutcracker” runs from Dec. 7 to 24.

But this year’s run is steeped in nostalgia. After 25 years at the Fox, the Atlanta Ballet announced that next year it is moving the beloved production to the Cobb Energy Centre.
