Atlanta Community Food Bank Takes Extra Steps To Feed Those In Need
As more Americans find themselves out of work and more schools remain closed, the demand for food pantries is growing.
At the same time, the pandemic is also changing the way food banks and nonprofits can operate.
The recently suspended on-site volunteer activities at its headquarters, all while ramping up food distribution.
Kyle Waide, CEO of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, joined “Closer Look with Rose Scott” on Thursday by phone to discuss how his organization is responding to the rising need for food during the coronavirus pandemic.
