The Atlanta Falcons are now 100% vaccinated, according to the team’s parent company, AMB Sports & Entertainment. The Falcons have also confirmed that they are the first in the National Football League to claim that distinction.

The NFL is not requiring players to be vaccinated. But teams could face forfeits if an outbreak happens during the season and the league is unable to re-schedule the game.

AMB, which also owns Atlanta United says 100% of United players have received the vaccine as well.

The company is also requiring all full-time and part-time employees to be vaccinated by Oct. 1.

All fans who attended games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last weekend were required to wear masks in enclosed areas of the stadiums such as gift shops and stadium clubs.
