Atlanta Might Get a Big-League Soccer Team; Would It Work This Time?

On September 12, 2013, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank is in “significant discussions” with Major League Soccer about possibly starting an expansion franchise in Atlanta.

If that happens, it won’t be the first time Atlanta has been home to a big-league soccer team. What are the chances that a team would survive this time?
