Atlanta Is Most Robocalled City In The U.S., Study Shows

If you live in Metro Atlanta, chances are you’ve had meals and other events interrupted by someone trying to make a sales pitch.
According to a study by YouMail, a company that tracks telemarketers, more than 100 million robocalls were received in Metro Atlanta in January.
The 404 area code received the most in the nation with more than 47 million robocalls.
The 678 exchange came in fourth with nearly 32 million.
YouMail reports 2.3 billion robocalls were made in January to about 324 million people nationwide, that breaks down to about seven calls per person.
