Record Store Day is often the biggest time of the year for music shops in Atlanta. Now in its 11th year, the annual event is an opportunity to grab dozens of limited releases on vinyl. And, Record Store Day has consistently brought awareness and support to small, local shops in cities across the nation.

For Atlanta, Record Store Day brings massive crowds, lines, and in-store events and performances. “Closer Look” producer Trevor Young took a tour through some of Atlanta’s most popular shops to ask owners and employees what they’re excited about for this year’s Record Store Day.
