Atlanta Musician Puts Entrepreneurship In Pop Stardom

As a girl in Sweden, Ulrika Lindstrom played classical piano and sang in a choir. Fast-forward to today, and she’s just Ulrika, on the track to pop stardom here in Atlanta.

She spent several years in Los Angeles, hoping for a break, but kept having setbacks.

“At the time, when I got into the business… I approached it like, just be an artist, just be real good at what you do, and hopefully all these executives will make correct decisions for you,” said Lindstrom. “And I just waited.”

She parted ways with her record label after visiting Atlanta, where she found three fellow musicians and producers to partner with to create their own production studio, Bravo Ocean. Instead of waiting, she tackled entrepreneurship. With the money the team makes for producing and branding other artists’ projects, they develop their own.

“I took control,  I took ownership, I took charge,” said Lindstrom. She just released a new single, “Oh, Sally,” and will be releasing an accompanying music video in July.
