Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee Seeks 10,000 Volunteers
The Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee has started its search for thousands of volunteers to help host the big event next year.
This week, the committee opened the application process to work at the event.
The group of NFL and city officials planning next year’s Super Bowl is looking for up to 10,000 volunteers to work the 10 days of events surrounding the big game on Feb. 3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Volunteers will need to be at least 18 years old and pass a background check. There’s also a one-on-one interview.
If they make the cut, they’ll be stationed at key points around Atlanta, like the airport and hotels, to help guests navigate the city.
But this isn’t a free ticket into Super Bowl LIII. The host committee stresses there will be NO volunteer opportunities inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on game day.
