Monday is a big day for the Vogtle nuclear plant in east Georgia.

Some of the utility companies building two new nuclear reactors at the plant near Augusta need to decide whether they want to move forward with the project after a recent jump in costs of more than $2 billion.

There’s been considerable drama leading up to Monday’s deadline.
