There’s a new mayor in Brookhaven.
Mayor Pro Tem Rebecca Chase Williams was sworn in Tuesday. She succeeds J. Max Davis who resigned recently.
“I look forward to the opportunity to continue to build a great city, where our mission statement says we strive to be a national model, a place where our residents and businesses flourish,” Williams said in a press release. “I will continue to build on the work already accomplished, to learn from experience and to build a government that is exceptional in all regards.”
