Chicago’s Matt Damon Improv Team Hits Dad’s Garage

When Matt Damon interrupted a black producer to explain diversity on a behind-the-scenes look at “Project Greenlight,” he probably didn’t expect an improv team to be named after him. But it happened.

The satirically named Matt Damon Improv team from Chicago is comprised entirely of women of color. White male or female guests who are invited on stage are not allowed to speak unless they parrot what someone on the team has already said.

“We joke they get to take a baby step in the walks of a women of color’s shoes by being silenced in a way,”  Angela Oliver told “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes.
