Covid19 – Community Resources

George Washington University School of Medicine students sort canned and other non-perishable food as they wear disposable gloves at Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, Thursday, March 19, 2020. The students are volunteering at the food bank because their medical rounds were cancelled because of the coronavirus outbreak. The Capital Area Food Bank will continue to serve those who are food insecure, offering food in different formats and locations beginning this week.

The unfortunate impact of COVID-19 has left many people in the Greater Atlanta community without the means to take care of themselves, their families, and their businesses.

WABE has collected an ongoing and comprehensive list of local organizations to help ensure you can receive any aid you may need in these difficult times, along with ways you can also assist from the comfort of your home.
