The Atlanta-based carrier was forced to cancel more than 3,500 flights and delay thousands of others over the past few days after severe storms on Wednesday caused backups at various airports, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Delta issued an apology on its website, saying the disruptions were also bolstered by the limited availability of its flight crew, whose shifts are mandated for safety.

About 150 flights were canceled by Delta on Sunday.

People with Delta flights for today are advised to stay updated on the situation at the airport by going to Delta’s website.
