Delta Flight Lands Safely After Twitter Bomb Threat

A Delta Airlines flight that landed in Atlanta early Wednesday morning was the latest target of a series of bomb threats against airplanes this week.

The Delta flight, coming from San Francisco to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, touched down without incident.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the threat came from a Twitter account.

Southwest Airlines and American Airlines also got bomb threats yesterday.

Between the three airlines, there were six threats total.

All the flights landed without incident.

In a written statement Delta spokesperson Lindsay McDuff confirmed Delta was aware of the threats and is working with authorities to determine their credibility.
