This week, President Obama met with House Republicans, in an effort to get talks started on a budget deal. Also this week, the House Republicans released their proposed budget, which outlines major changes to the nation’s Medicare program, among other things. That raises the question of whether the GOP can find enough common ground with House Democrats to work out a deal. WABE’s Denis O’Hayer spoke with Georgia Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson.
