Emory, New York-Based Company Partner To Provide 26-Week ‘Tech Bootcamp’ For Atlanta Students

In recent years, Atlanta has earned the nickname “the Silicon Valley of the South.”

In fact, back in 2017, Forbes said Atlanta was one of five U.S. cities “poised to become one of tomorrow’s tech meccas.”

Recently, Emory University teamed up with a New York-based company that specializes in coding and tech-themed boot camps.

It’s called Fullstack Academy.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look with Rose Scott,” Paul Welty, vice provost for academic innovation and interim executive director at Emory Continuing Education, and Mogan Subramaniam, president of Fullstack Academy, joined the program to share details about the 26-week program.
