Wednesday on “City Lights with Lois Reitzes”:

  • 1:00: Lois Reitzes talks with Beverly Bass and Becky Gulsvig about the Broadway musical “Come From Away.” Inspired by the life of Bass, the first female captain and third female pilot for American Airlines.
  • Reitzes speaks with Dayton Duncan and Julie Dunfey about the new Ken Burns documentary, “Country Music.” The film chronicles the history and evolution of the uniquely American art form. “Country Music” will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 15 on ATL PBA.
  • Patterson Hood, lead singer of Drive-By Truckers, joins Reitzes to discuss the upcoming “Revival” concert at the Fox Theatre. The show, featuring Georgia-based musicians, is a celebration of the state’s historic theatres. “Revival” is at the Fox Theatre on Sept. 13.
