  • 1:32: Lois Reitzes talks with Judith Jamison, artistic director emerita of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Jamison joined the modern dance company in 1965 and served as artistic director after Alvin Ailey’s death in 1989 until 2011. Alvin Ailey celebrates their 60th anniversary with six performance of “Ailey Ascending” at the Fox Theatre, Feb.  21-22.
