Thursday on “City Lights with Lois Reitzes”:

  • 2:06: Actor Shuler Hensley joins host Lois Reitzes to talk about this year’s annual “Shuler Awards,” taking place April 18 at 8 PM on Channel 8. The awards honor high school theater productions and students across Georgia for their performances.
  • 21:26: Reitzes talks with Daniel Fuller and Veronica Kessenich of the Atlanta Contemporary about their 2019 Atlanta Biennial exhibition, “A Thousand Tomorrows.” The exhibition features 21 artists from 10 states around the South and runs through April 21.
  • 36:53: Philip and Matt Moulthrop join Reitzes to talk about their work in the art of woodturning. Philip and Matt, son and grandson of Ed Moulthrop, respectively, are carrying on the legacy of Ed, known as the “father of woodturning.” Their creations can be seen at the Atlanta Botanical Garden through April 27.
