0:00: On February 12, 2009, four women made aviation history become the first all African-American female flight crew for a commercial airline. Today, 10 years later two of those women 1st Officer Stephanie Grant and flight attendant Robin Rogers join us to reflect on that historic flight from Atlanta to Nashville and to discuss diversity in aviation.
22:18: Last year, a record number of films and television shows were filmed here in Georgia, and as Georgia’s film industry continues to grow that also means the creation of more jobs on and off the screen. Film Friendly Georgia is one company that’s grown out of the booming film industry. The company’s founder, Wanda Morganstern describes her business as a “location services concierge” — simply put, she helps connect television and movie producers with the right home, school or other location to shoot. We go behind-the-scenes with Morganstern to one of these locations — a contemporary, California-style home tucked away in the Morningside neighborhood.
