- 3:14: New research shows the media disproportionately covers stories of terror attacks involving Muslims. According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of Alabama and Georgia State University, acts of terror committed by Muslims receive 357 percent more media coverage than those committed by other groups of people. What’s behind this imbalance? And what impact can this bias have? We’ll ask the study’s co-author Professor Anthony Lemieux, Director of the Global Studies Institute, and Professor of Global Studies and Communication at Georgia State University.
