- 0:00: In preparation for the planned implosion of the Georgia Dome, MARTA announced an alternate service plan for Monday, Nov. 20 to ensure a safe and seamless commute for riders. A portion of MARTA’s train tunnels lay almost directly under the implosion site, meaning two stations — Dome and Vine City — will close to all rail, bus and parking services during the event. MARTA Communications Manager, Stephany Fisher, discusses the alternate service plan and what to expect.
- 5:32: The field of candidates for Atlanta’s next mayor is down from a dozen to just two. Rose follows up on Closer Look’s series of one-on-one conversations with mayoral candidates. Councilwoman Keisha Lance Bottoms talks about her campaign heading into a December run-off.
- 34:18: In 1995 Emory University Professor Dr. William T. Branch developed a program focused on teaching compassion to doctors and medical students. Now his program has expanded and has been implemented in 30 U.S and Canadian medical schools. Branch talks about his program and the importance of teaching compassion to doctors.
