0:00: Rose gives a news brief on a new ruling from the nation’s high court regarding the Trump administration’s proposed citizenship question on the upcoming 20/20 census.In a 5-4 Supreme Court ruling, the proposed citizenship question will not be added to the Census. The court also ruled by 5-4 that partisan gerrymandering is a political question not reviewable by federal courts.
2:23: New speed limits and parking restrictions for e-scooters went into effect on a portion of the BeltLine last week. The regulations are part of a campaign, called #BeltLineCharm, which encourages scooter etiquette and safety. Cary Bearn, chief bicycle officer of the city of Atlanta, joins Closer Look in studio to tell us more about how the city and BeltLine will enforce these new measures.
