In other news, on Thursday, Federal Judge Amy Totenberg, ruled Georgia counties will not be forced to used hand-marked paper ballots for special elections this fall. US District Judge Amy Totenberg ruled that it wasn’t feasible to abandon the state’s touch screen voting machines this year, but did order the state’s current devices never be used again after 2019. Georgia’s Secretary of State’s office says a new system will be implemented by March 2020.

Ambassador and Senior at Booker T. Washington High School, Austin Evans, L.E.A.D. Ambassador alumnus and Senior at Texas A&M University. Also discussed is the 5th annual Safe at Home Game, co-founded by L.E.A.D. and APIVEO. It will be held on August 24 at 10 a.m. at the historic Booker T. Washington High School.
