0:00: Rose gives breaking news about a plane crash in northwest Atlanta. A plane reportedly went down at I-285 at Bolton Road, near a park in northwest Atlanta. There are no survivors, and first responders are working to confirm the total number of occupants that were on aircraft.
In other news, an estimated 3.3 million Georgians are hitting the road, runways and rails this holiday season. That’s 4.4 percent more travelers than last year, according to AAA. Saturday is expected to be the busiest travel day here in Atlanta, especially during the hours of 3 to 4 p.m. Travel times are expected to be four times longer than normal.
