Eve Payor Invites You To Take In The Subtle Sounds Of The Environment

The natural soundscape that surrounds us is something many of us take for granted. Eve Payor has devoted a good part of her life to teaching others about the power of sound, and, now, as part of the Atlanta Science Festival, you can join her on what she is calling a soundwalk.
That’s a guided walk through Woolford Gardens with a focus on sound’s natural footprint. Soundwalks according to Payor are a great source of relaxation, meditation, and a good way to unwind after long days. Payor is the creative director for the Atlantic Center for the Arts Soundscape Field Station. She, along with Daren Wang, the executive director of AIR Serenbe joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to discuss the events this weekend.
The soundwalk will take place this Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center.
There will also be another Soundwalk on Sunday at Serenbe.
