DESCRIPTION:A free event for the community\, Ideas Festival Emory was created in 2024 by the Center for Public Scholarship and Engagement at Oxford College of Emory University to share ideas\, insights\, and inspiration with local and global audiences. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year’s theme Resilience! How can we work together\, across difference and discipline\, to build resilient futures? \n\n\n\nFeaturing exhibitions\, live music and performances\, games for kids\, food and drinks\, and conversations and presentations from producers all across the creative spectrum. \nJoin WABE’s own Rose Scott\, for a special live taping of Closer Look as she dives into the reality of hosting big ticket sports events\, the unseen costs\, the impact these events have on Atlanta’s most vulnerable citizens\, and the challenges that World Cup brings to the Atlanta community. \nRegister now for our Keynote Session and live taping of the Sing for Science podcast with Rosanne Cash.  \n\n\n\n\n\nAttendance of all Ideas Festival sessions are free\, but capacity will be limited for our Keynote Session.  \nTo ensure you’re able to attend\, register now.
