Chocolate is scrumptious, most would agree.

Did you know that chocolate comes from a fruit? It’s the cacao fruit, which comes from the cacao tree that also helps with rainforest conservation.

Xocolatl founders Elaine Read and Matt Weyandt talked about that and more during an episode of “City Lights.” Xocolatl is a micro-factory producing chocolate located in Krog Street Market.

They were featured in the documentary “Setting the Bar: A Craft Chocolate Origin Story.” The film will be shown in collaboration with Georgia Organics this Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Plaza Theatre.

The craft chocolate makers joined “City Lights” producer Ryan McFadin to talk about what goes into harvesting and making their products.
