The Flying Carpet Theatre Company’s latest podcast, “Family History Discussion Series,” centers around the exploration of one’s family history and genealogy.

The multiple episodes will include talks with “amateur genealogists” with the goal of discovering common themes that unite different groups of people.

Flying Carpet Theatre artistic director Adam Koplan joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes, along with podcast co-host Pete Candler, to discuss the new series and how family history can be used as a road map for navigating current times.

Koplan says of this, “A great way to start talking about some of the things we share and some of the things we don’t is through our family histories.”
