Former state Rep. Keisha Sean Waites elected to Atlanta City Council Post 3 at-large

Keisha Sean Waites defeated Jacki Labat, wife of Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat, in the runoff election for the Atlanta City Council Post 3 at-large seat. Waites is a former Democratic lawmaker who represented District 60 from 2012 to 2017. She will be filling the seat vacated by Andre Dickens, who is now mayor-elect of Atlanta.
