The Fulton County Elections Board voted to fire Elections Director Richard Barron yesterday.
The 3-2 vote came after a contentious hour-long virtual meeting.
Now, Fulton attorneys are reportedly advising the board of commissioners must approve the decision.
On Wednesday, Fulton County Commission chair Robb Pitts met with members of the election’s board.
He spoke with “Closer Look” host Rose Scott in the morning, ahead of this meeting, about where he stands on Barron’s termination.
