Metro Atlanta Gas Prices — How Low Can They Go?

Depending on which source you use, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in metro Atlanta is about $1.82 on Monday.

That’s a drop of some 45 cents in just a month.

And experts say there’s no immediate end in sight to the price free fall.

That includes Patrick De Haan, who talked with WABE’s “All Things Considered” host Jim Burress via Skype.

He’s the head of petroleum analysis for the gas tracking website GasBuddy.
