Governor Kemp Talks Rural Georgia, HB 481 And Maternal Health And The Republican Party

Gov. Brian Kemp spoke about a wide range of topics in a recent interview with WABE: the problems facing rural Georgia, health care and maternal health, his hope to move Georgia away from Common Core standards, recent changes to Georgia’s voting system and the future of the Republican Party.

One note of disclosure: just in the hours since the interview, the federal government did come through with a compromise on a federal relief package, more than seven months after Hurricane Michael did major damage to Southwest Georgia and its agriculture industry.
