Health care workers are on the front lines helping patients as the entire nation tries to work together to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports, anyone can be infected with the virus — but people who are 65 and older and those with existing medical conditions are at a higher risk.

Some people with existing medical conditions receive hospice care.

Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is a community-based organization that provides end-of-life care. They have an inpatient center in Cumming.

Tony Kudner, vice president of communications and public affairs at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, recently joined “Closer Look” to talk about the challenges of providing hospice care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
