Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe in Marietta is holding a fundraiser to help a family who lost loved ones in a car wreck earlier this month.

The restaurant put up a poster at its entrance where patrons can read the family’s story and leave encouraging notes.

The Wolwark family was traveling from Kennesaw to South Carolina last weekend, according to the family’s Go Fund Me page. The oldest of four siblings stayed home and the rest were traveling with their mother when their car overturned while heading north on Interstate-85, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Two siblings, Kirana “Kiki”, 15, and Nate, 12, were killed. Kiki had worked part-time at Sweet Hut with her sister, Jessica, 17, who was seriously injured in the wreck.

Jessica, and her mother, Natalia, are still in the hospital.

Donations will be given to the Wolwark family to help with funeral costs and medical expenses. You can also donate through the family’s Go Fund Me page.

The restaurant has already raised more than $14,000 from sales earlier this week.
