The Pigeon Comes to Atlanta is an interactive exhibition now open at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. The activities are based on the books and characters created by Mo Willems, including Knuffle Bunny, Naked Mole Rat, and of course Pigeon. “City Lights” stopped by the museum to chat with Karen Kelly, the director of exhibits and education, about the exhibition and other things the museum has to offer. She also explained the museum’s ideology:

“The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is a hands-on, minds-on educational museum that is all based on the philosophy that kids learn through exploration and play.”

The Pigeon Comes to Atlanta Exhibition is at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta through May 9.
