The National Urban League has released a new report highlighting both the strides and the setbacks in local and federal policy reform in the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder in 2020.

“George Floyd Five Years Later: Was It a Moment or a Movement?” was part of the organization’s Legislative Policy Conference, and reviews equity pledges and judicial challenges under the Trump administration.

On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” NUL President and CEO Marc Morial joins host Rose Scott to talk about America’s fight for social justice, equity and freedom.
