Unarmed people of color killed at the hands of law enforcement is a horrific reality in the United States. A new play, Good Bad People from True Colors Theatre Company, explores race and class in contemporary America as a well-to-do family deals with the death of a son unjustly killed by police. The world premiere of Good Bad People is on stage now at the Southwest Art Center. Playwright Rachel Lynett, True Colors Artistic Director Jamil Jude, and the play director Ibi Owolabi joined Lois via zoom to talk about the play and how it highlights a necessary discussion.

“Good Bad People” is on stage through March 12th at the Southwest Arts Center. More information is available here.
