Managing editor Alex Helmick joined WABE in 2019. Before Atlanta, he was a senior editor at KQED in San Francisco. He has also worked as a reporter, producer and host throughout his career, which includes WBEZ-Chicago and a BBC-affiliate in Geneva, Switzerland.
