Jason Parker is the digital media strategist for Public Broadcasting Atlanta, where he works on integrating digital and social elements into the radio and television station’s efforts.
Prior to coming to PBA in 2011, Jason was the Digital Editor of SavannahNow.com, the website of the Savannah Morning News, where his team won state and national awards for online news coverage. He created the social media program for the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and served as the university’s first social media manager. He also operates Art Relish, a site that documents visual art and artists around Atlanta.
He holds an MFA in Photography from SCAD as well as an MEd from Georgia Southern University in Instructional Technology.
