Digital News Editor
As a digital editor for WABE, Kenny’s primary responsibilities include copy editing the daily works of WABE’s reporters and radio series “City Lights” and “Closer Look.” In regards to social media, he assists in the management of the newsroom’s official Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
Kenny considers it a privilege and a dream come true to begin his professional journalism career with WABE. A lifelong resident of Atlanta and a 2021 graduate of Georgia State University, he is thrilled for the opportunity to highlight a city unmatched in its charm, current events and culture. Before arriving at WABE, Kenny served as a digital news intern with Georgia Public Broadcasting in 2019 and as a photography intern with The Walt Disney Company the following year. He attributes his WABE colleagues and supervisors, his career mentors and God to his continued professional growth and success.
