- 0:00: Actress Erika Alexander is best known for her roles as Maxine Shaw in the TV sitcom “Living Single”, Cousin Pam on “The Cosby Show”, and an appearance in the Oscar nominated film “Get Out”. Alexander is also an author, comic book writer and political activist, including working as a surrogate for Hilary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Alexander is a speaker at this week’s “Power Rising Summit”, which brings together black women to focus on political and social activism as well as healthy living for communities. Alexander stops by “Closer Look” to talk about the political power of women.
