Closer Look: Publishers Decision to Restrict E-Book Sales Impacts Local Libraries; Georgia State Program Offers Higher Education To Inmates; Lost-N-Found Youth Opens New Center For LGBTQ Youth

• 02:35: Macmillan Publishers recently announced the company is drastically restricting the sales of its e-books to one per library system. Rose Scott recently visited the Toco Hill-Avis G. Williams Library for a conversation with Director of the DeKalb County Library System Alison Weissinger and state librarian Julie Walker about how this decision will impact local library systems here in Georgia.

• 39:09: Since 2011, Lost-n-Found Youth has had a mission to serve homeless LGBTQ youth. Now, the organization is expanding its outreach efforts with a new drop-in center located in Grant Park. Nasheedah Muhammad and Ernest Walker, co-executive directors for Lost-N-Found Youth, recently joined “Closer Look with Rose Scott” in the studio to discuss the new, 5,000 square foot facility.
