Aurora Theatre’s latest production is “The Roommate.” The play by Jen Silverman’s is billed as a mashup between “The Odd Couple” and “Breaking Bad.”

The play stars 50-something Sharon who is a recently divorced busybody. Due to unfortunate financial circumstances, she is in need of a roommate.

Enter Robyn, also in her mid-50s, who is looking for a calm quiet place to hide from her past and start over. Things happen, and quickly the story spirals out of control.
